Lessons

All our clients will enjoy and benefit from riding provided by experienced and competent coaches, who really listen to what you want to achieve. Our aim is to support and agree realistic goals which will be challenging but achievable. We don’t forget that riding is for fun, so we strive to provide the most enjoyable and informative lessons, and to give you meaningful and constructive feedback as you progress. We’ll give you lots of encouragement and a variety of experiences, to aid your learning and confidence-building. Our coaches’ role is to help you to succeed in becoming a confident, safe and competent rider, working at your own pace.

We advice out clients to spend some time with your horse to build a relationship by being involved with looking after him/her on the ground. We encourage you to be hands-on by grooming, bathing, tacking up and general horse presentation. Supervision is provided to ensure health and safety requirements are fully met, as it is very important for to maintain the safety of both client and horse.

All our lessons are given in our purpose built, Olympic-sized, 60 metre x 20 metre outdoor school. We also have a 20 x 40 metre post and railed grass arena, if required.

Individual Lessons are available 7 days a week at a time to suit you. As part of your lesson, you are able to use the facilities of our Centre. You can customise your time with the coach to improve a specific area or riding or just to increase your general knowledge. Horse safety and general maintenance of a horse can also be part of the lesson if you require it.
