Leisure Driving

We offer a fantastic Leisure Driving experience, during which you can learn to ‘drive’ the carriage or simply sit back and enjoy a relaxing journey around local lanes. This also makes a perfect gift for friends and loved ones.

Leisure Driving is both fun and skillful. We have horses suitable for driving in a singles harness, great for people of all abilities. You can see from these pictures that Dinky is used more than most for driving - she just loves it!

Private sessions can be arranged and instruction can take place out on a drive or in our outdoor school. We are very lucky to be surrounded by countryside and quiet country lanes. We also have tracks around farms which are suitable for carriages.

If you love being with horses but unable to, or do not wish to, ride then leisure driving could be a great way for you to have run with horses.

Why not just relax and enjoy a leisure drive out in style. We will drive you around the country lanes and you can take in the surroundings and see the wildlife. You can just enjoy the views, or if you wish to have a go at driving then just mention this at the beginning of your drive. We will then arrange to safely allow you to have a go so then you can experience driving yourself. We can even arrange to collect you from our local pub and then go on a drive in style. Driving is also an ideal gift for anniversaries, birthdays and many other special occasions.
